The boar isn't quite what it seems at all--...

"W-wait!"

Vix blinked her tawny golden eyes. Had the boar just spoken?!

"Don't shoot me! Please, I'm human!"

The voice coming from the boar was definitely female, though quite husky.

Vix's stomach rumbled and she loosed her arrow, the shot missing the boar/human by a wide margin.

The boar let out a heavy sigh, soon moving forward and nuzzling Vix.

"Thank you, thank you, I am in your debt! My name is Evelyn."

"Well Evelyn, my name is Vix and I am mighty hungry so use that snout of yours to scrounge up some truffles or something edible, let me sate my stomach, and you can tell me how you came to be so afflicted."

The boar nodded. "As you wish."

A good hour later, Evelyn was on her big belly, panting and wheezing at the effort of getting all of the food Vix wanted.
