1. Vix the Vicious: A beastgirl amazon ranger. "Beast girl," in this case, meaning a nekomimi. I.e., a catgirl, of the 'basically human, but with cat ears and a tail" persuasion. But Vix is no wimpy tuna-sucking bell jockey; she's a tough as nails wildcat who'd just as soon scratch your eyes out as give you the time of day. With her flame-red hair and cute (but sharp!) fangs, she's not gonna take no dung from anyone! Vix is used to living on the land and hunting for her supper; she looooves fresh-caught meat, and lives by the adage "eat what you can, as much as you can, while the eatin' is good." But if the eatin' gets good and stays good, what fate does the future hold for our hairy heroine?
2. Aurora Glacierfist: A frost giant valkyrie, nine feet tall and a muscular as a Clydesdale, blue flesh slick with ice and rime. As most valkyries do, she takes life seriously and gives her all no matter what she does, be it a war or a drinking contest.
3. Flinzi Flotberkle: Manic goblin dreamgirl and out-there engineer/biochemist/all-around mad scientist. Only three feet high, she nevertheless cuts an unmistake figure with her grease-smeared overalls, her enormous goggles with the cotton-candy-pink lenses, and her garishly rainbow-colored hair, currently sticking out in all directions in about a bazillion braids and ponytails. Like all goblins, she has light-green skin, pointy ears, a large and slightly upturned nose, and a prehensile tail (in her case, usually holding a wrench or a test tube).
4. Cap'n Vashine Hookrust: She be a roight fine pirate wench, arr--and all the finer fer bein' a true denizen o' Davy Jones' locker. Fer this mariner be a mermaid as well, with scaly skin as blue an white as the swordfish whose weapon she shares, hair as black as the inky depth o' the abyssal zone, and great white eyes like the devil's whirlpools themselves, they are! Sultry as a siren, stinging like a jellyfish, and drinking like a gulper eel, Vashine is one scurvy sea-witch who's out fer grog an' treasure, and woe to any air-lubber who gets in her way!
