The walrus-skin drums of the valkyries pounded out a booming chant which echoed along the edges of glaciers and up and down the fjords. Aurora Glacierfist, a well-built young warmaiden, strong of arm and supple of figure, was just buckling on the last of her armor. She was a symphony in cold steel and fur.
