Snotlout reluctantly scoured the Dragon books.

Snotloud searched for clues to help him with his plan. He was at Fishlegs home to look into the Book of Dragons.

He was reading through the book and he found something out and about the species called Deadly Nadder.

It told him that this Dragon had a special function. Ist had a separate Organ that made a venom that was distributed through the spikes. To get to this liquid he had to crack the spikes open and it would run out.

It wasn't written in the new book. This ws a different one. It was a belief that it is real. But it was told that this had been used to turn others that we're not worthy of the male sex into a female. That was what the poison did. It did it so over time. To reverse the effects to be exposed to a second time.
It bore normally a change in mind too.

'It will change Hiccup into a girl, who will be a beautiful and lusty Woman.' Snotloud was just thinking about how he will pull it off. The spine from a Nadder should not be older than a day.

And the liquid had fumes, you shouldn't be exposed to. It could have side effects on the person. This he didn't read.
