Bart chose tickles as it seemed not so harsh.
Bart's shoes, socks and shirt were removed and he was given 3 choices:

Tickled in the stocks in the front yard by passers by, tickled in the basement on a tickle table by Marge and Lisa or tickled in Lisa's room by Lisa and her friends.

Bart thought about the choices long and hard.
