Chapter #7

The five flee

when the paralyzed effect wears off you get up to see the boy who saved you he has black hair and is wearing the blue male starting armour he walks away muttering

"i hate bullies"

before you can thank him he dashes off and out of sight, inspired you decide that you would dedicate yourself to protecting people in this death game so you head back to town and look at the map and meet an NPC that looks like an old man

he says to you "please my family is starving please give kill some boars from the fields so i can feed my family i don't have much except for this family heirloom please"

you accept the quest and go to kill the boars it isn't easy the starting short sword is heavy and you aren't very coordinated but after two hours you have killed the required amount plus one extra for your own dinner and hand the items into the NPC he replies by saying "thank you, thank you" he hands you the Heirloom which is a amulet that has two shields on it

and you then gets a notification

while wearing this amulet you may wield two large shields at the cost of no other weapons of any kind

you then go to the market and sell your junk items for a large shield and equip it going back out to hunt on his way through town he sees that not everyone has the resolve he does many people are going crazy others are crying in the streets he stops by the bounty board and sees that there is a boss boar worth 500 Gil (the in-game currency) he accepts it and goes to hunt it down

1. the hunt

2. somebody approaches him
