The next step in securing the wishing orb...

{Ryan's POV}

"I do not know of this other worldly wishing orb, Chon." Serious, Amy said. "However, I can tell you what I know of the wishing orb of this world."

"What can you tell me?" Curious, Chon demanded.

"For any soul to be freed from the spirit world and brought into the living, especially after a long period of time, a living soul would have to take its place." Darkly, Amy explained. "One must die for one to live again. If this orb is designed to ruin lives, then I would say that someone close to you would be the one to perish if you make such a wish."

Chon was silent for a full minute before he finally spoke. "We must find that cursed item before someone discovers it. Enough lives have been ruined without such corrupted power."

I smiled at that. Well said, old friend. I motioned to Viva and Vogue. "You two will have to sit this one out." Firmly, i said. "Charlie too. I have a feeling this orb will try to tempt the young into making a wish they will later regret."

"I agree." Softly, Chon said. "We all have suffered in our past; this orb has to tempting of a power to allow it to stay here."

"What's the first step?" Curious, Jenny asked.

"We split up into pairs." Serious, I said. "We need to find this orb and get it to these two visitors so they can get it out of this world."

"Where do we start?" Standing up, Light asked.

"As we have not yet been asked to search for it by the deans, we'll stick to the common areas of the school and work from there." Motioning to the door, I replied. "If anyone finds it, call the dean first then us."

Jenny and I were, of course, one pair and we decided to search...
