I decide that I'm gonna let the prefects do this, I technically am one. When it suits the heads up, because she knows I'm the most competent out of this school. But hey this isn't my problem, I get the feeling I'm gonna be dragged into this though. At least six prefects are leading these two up to the deans. I sigh and take out my phone, my finger goes onto Jenny's number.
"U there?"
She replies a second later.
"Yeah babe what u doing? xx"
"Gather everyone, we need to have a dorm discussion."
Jenny doesn't respond, I know that she'll do that. Sure enough by the time I'm at the dorm 10 minutes later everyone is present in the living room.
"What's this about Carlson? This is supposed to be training time for Viva and Vogue." Chon states, he loves his timetables.
"And I'm supposed to be writing a thesis on defensive magic, what gives Ryan?" Amy says with her usual hint of annoyance, we expect that from her.
I sigh and say to everyone in the room "This morning a rift opened up from another world to this school, emerging from it were two people who I assume are related called Tex and Jessica. They were led away by prefects to see our deans, and warned me of something. "
Light suddenly pipes up and says “So what is it? Giant dragon needing punched in? Aztec gods of fitness needing battered?”
I’m briefly taken off guard by this, but I soon reply with "They claimed that a wishing orb is somewhere on the grounds of this school, it ruins the lives of any who cast a wish with it. Likely by altering current things around the wish."
Chon lifts his head up and says to me "So say I was to request my Brother be brought back. I'm guessing its not in the way I'd want it."
"Yeah that sounds about right." I say in response. Chon's not dumb enough to try and use that thing to get his Brother back. He's dealt with enough bad things in magic to know it's not a good idea, even if it could give him something like that.....
Right?
I want to believe it.
Please be the case Chon. Don't act like the worst fear I have of this situation.
