Rips out a few pages and slips back to Lao Shi.

Using a claw he rips out a few pages and places the book back on the stand, closing it so it's not immediate that anyone can find out some pages are missing. With a handful of paper he hastily leaps upon a kitchen counter, opens a window and flies out.

"The Amdrag is back!" Jake said triumphantly as he landed back on the rooftops.

"Back so soon? Did everything go well?" Asked Lao Shi.

"Well you know, I'm such a good detective I didn't need all that long at all! Like a ninja I snuck in and silently right under the nose of a guard I got some evidence!" Jake said boastfully as he handed over the torn pages.

"Let me see, young one. Pages? Were these from some magic tome?"

"I'm not sure about that, but it was some big creepy book. It was called 'The Baker's Guide to...something something', it's gotta be something evil."

Squinting his eyes, the elderly man stated. "Jake these are...
