Rainbow Dash had been busy working high in the skies of Ponyville. Her day had started off with a hectic schedule, giving her no leeway as she had been assigned to make sure that a large downpour of rain happened three days from now. It was going to be a severe storm, but the town had handled far worse.
Dash flew around, pushing clouds together and apart, making sure they would go in the proper direction or release the proper amount of rain. It was tedious, but nothing she couldn't handle. After all, she had saved Equestria more times than she could count.
Dash wiped some sweat off her brow, pushing her rainbow mane out of her purple eyes. She looked around to see the others hard at work, doing the same thing as her. All but one.
Derpy moved a rather black cloud out into the open sky, away from the rest of the clouds. Sometimes she could be such a klutz. Dash groaned in annoyance as she flew from her original spot in the sky to Derpy's location in less than three seconds, putting herself in front of the cross eyed mare.
"Derpy, what do you think you're doing?!" Dash chastised, "The storm clouds are suppose to be that way!"
Derpy's ears drooped as she looked apologetically at the brash mare in front of her. "I'm sorry. I just thought that the east side of Ponyville would need more rain."
Though Derpy was sincere, Dash was already too far into her rant. Dash continued with her rant saying, "I don't know what you were thinking, but you need to stop thinking like that! Follow the plan! Now give me the cloud, I'll fix it."
Derpy was having trouble figuring out her emotions as she just lamely put her head down before saying, "You don't need to do that. I can put it back."
"No, you can't. Now give it here before you really mess something up," Dash said. Though she was generally a lax mare, she was also a winner, sometimes letting her desire to get things done overwhelm her emotions. However, Derpy did not care. She had enough.
Derpy jumped on top of the cloud, staring at Dash with anger. "I don't know why you're being so mean!" Derpy stepped foward, causing the cloud to start making noticeable rumbling, "I am trying, but I just can't do anything right. huh?" Derpy took another step, causing even more rumbling to come from the cloud.
Dash noticed the rumbling. "Derpy, I-" She was stopped mid-sentence by Derpy as she continued.
"If you don't think I can do anything right, then fine!" Derpy jumped off the cloud, sparking coming from the inside of the black form. Derpy then raised her hind legs before saying, "Take your stupid cloud!"
Derpy kicked the cloud and that was all that was needed as the cloud spewed lightning and hit Dash. Dash screamed in pain as she fell to the ground. Derpy and the rest of the crew that had been watching flew down as fast as they could to see if their captain was alright.
