The pond

Water = Life

With that in mind, it makes sense that any animals in the area, especially the pregnant ones, would need to make a trip for water at least once a day. You begin walking toward the nearest visible water source, which to you appears to be a medium sized pond. You don't know much about ground-water, but as you reach the edge of the pond, you notice how beautifully crystal clear the water is. "It must be fed off of a spring" you think to yourself. With water this clean, and this accessible, it's no surprise this area is rumored to have tons of animals in it. Which reminds you, the reason you walked down here was to find some of those animals. You scan the area around you, and:

A. Notice a small herd of deer coming toward the pond.
B. Notice (with fear) that a large buck is coming toward you!
C. Watch as a massive bald eagle lands on the opposite bank.
D. Notice a stone with strange symbols carved into it.
E. You see something else. (Keep it going!)
