Chapter #3
Approach the mysterious stone.
by: Unknown
Foreword:
Hello readers! The chapter you are about to read is a sort of add-in that helps describe the happenings in some of my additions to this story. Call it, a description of why. I'm leaving all the choices blank, in case anyone would like to tweak what I put down. Anyway, here it is. Enjoy!
Before you notice anything else, a large aged stone catches your eye. It's slightly shorter than you in height, and its covered with strange symbols, which even to the untrained eye appear to be some type of writing. Even upon closer examination, the symbols look random and unintelligible. However, they look really cool, so you decide to examine the stone further.
Now, IF you had been able to read the symbols, (And trust me, no one could have.), and the message was translated to the modern day, it would have read something like this:
I make this message as a warning. Those who can read this, LEAVE THIS PLACE. I came here with my tribe. The land was full of game. But this water, it changes them. Man and beast. Allows them to do things no other animal can do. As the wise man of my tribe, I describe the water to you, in hopes you can destroy it. When man drinks the water, his body changes to the creatures around him. The beasts who drink it, they become wiser. They seek out those of my tribe in order to change them. My brother was pulled inside of a doe. My chief, gored by a buck, was sucked into his testicals. I am the last of my tribe. They will find me soon.
