The princess ignored the admonishment and made her way back to her horse. She unhooked a water sack and removed its top. She filled it while Sir Garrett fixed his steed and wasn't watching her. Her natural curiosity got the better of her, making her want to test the waters later to see what magical properties it contained.
Sir Garrett and Albert readied their horses and broke down camp not paying attention to the Princess after she moved away from the fountain. Albert felt that the Princess kept distracting them from the mission they should be on. He expressed as much to Sir Garrett who listened to him but dismissed him. The nobleman Albert felt that one should be wary of the dangers out here not curious like the Princess. Albert petulantly thought about how to throw a scare into the young woman that she might leave. Perhaps he could make some noises in the woods when they made camp this evening.
Sir Garrett feared the disunity he saw between the Princess and his squire Albert. Albert's youth and attachment to Sir Garrett exacerbated the situation. The youth no doubt felt displaced by Princess Fina. Albert looked to the Paladin Sir Garrett as a surrogate father. Sir Garrett tried to figure out how to mend the rift but nothing came to him. He got on his horse and hoped it would work out.
