"What do you think could be in this thing?" asked Tom, as he and Ashley walked out of the shop.
"I don't know. Curious how that old man was so willing to part with it" said Ashley.
"True. I wonder if I made a good decision" said Tom. He often wondered about his decision making. He was never really at thinking when under stress. Ashley gave him a warm smile and patted his shoulder.
"Don't doubt yourself. I think you made a reasonable decision. We can always return it if it doesn't work out" said Ashley. Tom smiled and laughed at his apprehensiveness.
"You're right. Thanks Ashley. You always know what to say to cheer me up" said Tom with gratitude. Ashley giggled softly while a small blush spread across her face. Her feelings towards Tom were so obvious to everyone. Everyone except Tom that is.
"Well we better catch up with Adam and Sara" Tom said. Ashley nodded, getting her blush under control.
'Control yourself Ashley. You don't want to give it away yet' thought Ashley.
Soon enough, as they walked home, they spotted Adam. Apparently, Sara had gone ahead back home. Adam then glanced at Tom and Ashley holding the box from earlier.
"Well, whatcha get? An unlimited supply of skittles?" he smirked at them.
