This choice: She discovers a new way of curing his friends. • Go Back...Chapter #5She discovers a new way of curing his friends. by: Unknown Wendy sat at the base of a tree trunk with Charla sleeping in her lap. To say that the sudden loss of time for training before the Grand Magic Games was a disaster, would be an accurate statement. However, with the sudden arrival of Jellal, Ultear, and Meredy, she and her friends were able to unlock their Second Origin, and make up for a majority of the 7 years they had fallen behind.
After their Second Origins were unlocked, everyone seemed to go their own way to test their newly acquired powers and boost their own moral. While most of them, like Natsu, were seeing how powerful their most useful spells were now, Wendy had decided to finally take a look at the large packet that Porlyusica had gotten from Grandeeney. The first spell in the packet was Sky Drill, a spell that allowed her to essentially form a drill out of air to send at an opponent. The second was Milky Way, which was... well, she couldn't really tell what it did. She had given it a test run, but it had no affect at all.
Her face gained a confused look as she read the last spell. Cradle. The title of it, like Milky Way, didn't give any hint towards what its purpose was, so she flipped to its second page.
Cradle is an ancient healing spell performed by female healing mages, most commonly being sky dragon slayers. By casting Cradle, an affect is placed on the castor and the nearest sleeping. Casting it several times will affect the same number of individuals as the number of times casted, along with the castor. The spell allows the castor to insert, theoretically, any number of individuals into her womb. Once inside of the castor's womb, the individual(s) will age backwards at an accelerated rate and heal ANY injury, condition, or other impediment. Attempts of this spell have shown that, if kept in the womb for long enough, the individual will regress back into a single cell. Upon reaching this stage, the cell will- indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
