…a pickle on a stick?” Velma questioned as she saw what simply appeared to be a normal unsliced pickle impaled on a wooden stick.
“Hm that’s odd.” Velma approached the food item looking perplexed at how basic it seemed. “And here I was thinking carnival food would be…interesting.”
She then grabbed the stick from the rack and held the pickle to her face. “Maybe I’m not seeing something.”
Hesitantly, Velma opened her mouth to sample the food she was about to consume. After a long effort of holding back thoughts of a disgusting, cold vegetable laced in some nasty carbohydrates, Velma finally plucked up the courage to take a bite.
Velma smacked her lips as the taste came to her. “Mmmm!” murmured Velma as the pickle had obviously satisfied her. It was a normal pickle but inside looked and tasted like peanut butter filling. The combination was so good to Velma that she didn’t hesitate to take another bite.
After a couple minutes, Velma finally finished the pickle, throwing away the stick in a nearby trash can and cleaning her hands by rubbing them together.
