Tall Tails

    by: Unknown
Cosmic Creations: What do you get when the ozone layer opens up and lets a few cosmic rays into a small spot in a forest? A lot of dead things. But that’s not the case for one particular German Shepherd; instead, it would change her in incredible ways. A year after the rays touched down, she now stands an amazing seven feet at the withers, solidly built with a strong frame and plenty of muscle to back it up. Her mind also functions at unimaginable levels, nearly matching a human’s processing ability, coupled with her preexisting canine brain, which has been sharpened by leaps and bounds as well.

Enter Paul Martell. Age Twenty-three. A recent college graduate with a stable job, a new place to live, and more time than he knows what to do with. An architect by trade and an artist by heart, he’s quite often seen at his drawing table, but that’s not to say he doesn’t get out. He’s a very active individual, constantly going on runs, walks, hikes, bike rides, river trips, and pretty much anything else that lets him burn off some energy. He’s always liked dogs, and plans on getting one as soon as he’s settled in his new home, but he’ll be getting one sooner than he anticipated.

Lady's Luck: Perpetually Hungry: DNA is determines everything in our bodies, and when something isn’t right, it’s usually pretty noticeable. As is the case with a particularly large Springer Spaniel who’s been growing up and out for as long as she can remember, because she’s got a serious problem with food. Standing almost six feet at the shoulder, this hefty canine is pushing nearly three tons in weight, an awesome number that keeps climbing as her endless hunger drives her to continually search for new food sources in the large city where she currently resides in the shadows of the night, and elsewhere in the day to hide her huge frame. Only surviving off what she can scrounge has her gains slowed to a crawl, but if she finds a stable food source that will all change very quickly.

Enter Jack Weston. Age Thirty-six. A senior wildlife biologist at Eastern State University, living just outside the city on a sizeable patch of land in a modest home. Much of his time at the University is spent researching in his and other related fields, and teaching others with the same ambitions. A master of biology, but also a man with a knack for building things, Jack is always busy at home fixing or building something in his garage, but enjoys getting out for bike rides and walks too. He grew up around dogs and has always had them in his life, up until recently when his last dog passed away, but lucky for him, he’ll have a new friend to keep him company soon enough.

You have the following choices:

1. Cosmic Creations

2. Lady's Luck: Perpetually Hungry

3. Other Choices
