What about a Succubus who doesn't have enough energy at the moment to maintain a physical form, but enough to effect others?

Let's call her Alice.

After years of seeking out a proper mate for herself, she began to lose the ability to maintain a physical form, so she stopped, and then existed in a realm of dreams and ghosts. When she found you, she decided that you were her proper mate.

While she can't interact with you at the moment (except maybe in dreams), she will make your life a lot more erotic and lustful. She'll use her succubus powers make you appear more desirable to women around you and then feed off the lust energy, just for the moment that she'll get enough energy to have a physical form again.
