Chapter #6

Single Player Advantage

"How about only the player who scores a goal gets to grow, but he gets to double in height!"

Lee immediately laughed and said, "Dude...are you serious? I'm the best player on the team! You're practically handing me a free ticket to grow!"

You felt a strange twinge as he said that, your eyes looking up and down his almost completely revealed body. If he got any bigger whatever clothing was managing to cling to his towering frame would pop off in an instant. The other guys added their voices to the situation, some in favor of a chance to double their heights while others were concerned that Lee would hog it all. Luke ended the discussion by raising his voice and saying, "HEY! If you REALLY don't have that much confidence in your own skills then fine, maybe Lee will get to keep growing!"

"You KNOW I will." The cocky young Asian man said, smirking over at his teammate.

"But that also means he'll eventually get too big to properly handle the ball and when THAT happens..."

"WE'LL GET A CHANCE!" The rest of the team cheered, laughing and patting each other on the backs. It was at this point enough was enough. You had been largely keeping silent, largely letting these rambunctious kids have their own way as they played around, but this was just too much! If Lee scored even once, he would surge up to over twenty feet tall! And if he managed to score beyond THAT he'd reach over FORTY feet tall! With just four goals Lee could conceivably reach over one hundred feet tall, not to mention the various levels the other boys might reach. By the end of practice you could have a team of ten year olds wreaking havoc on the whole town!

"Guys, guys, guys!" You shout, waving your arms for their attention. "There's no way I can allow this! It's...it's too much! Things could get seriously out of hand!"

Luke rolled his eyes and said, "Come on, that's why it's FUN!"

"Yeah, you didn't seem too worked up about it last week when we had practice." Lee said with a grin, his cock stiffening slightly as he remembered...something that seemingly had gone on in the time where your memory is hazy. "Besides this is great for teamwork! You want us to do good at tomorrows game, right?"

You looked slowly from face to face, each boy looking back at you with determination, wanting to continue practicing to be the very best they could possibly be! You sighed, rubbing your head. How can you say no to such faces? It wasn't like they needed you to help themselves grow so you should probably feel grateful that they haven't completely run amok yet. Lee and Luke, seemingly the de facto leaders of the group, both stepped forward, standing on either side of you. "Come on coach." Lee said, grinning. "Let's have some fun!"

"...Alright, you guys win." You finally agree with a sigh. You blew your whistle once more and shouted, "All shirts to the left! All skins to the right! We play until ten goals! No time outs, no fouls, no pleas for more time afterwards! Got it?!"

"Yes sir!" Everyone said with a grin, taking up their positions on opposite ends of the field.

"Make this last round really count guys! I want to see each and every one of you at your absolute best!"

The kids were getting fired up from hearing your impassioned words, bouncing slightly from foot to foot, getting into position! You were starting to fall into the role of a coach quite well, actually even enjoying yourself a bit! These kids just tended to grow on you after awhile...er...no pun intended. You picked up the soccer ball and walked into the center of the field, Lee and Luke facing off. You held the ball out in front of you and said, "On my whistle...three...two...one..."

With a long, sustained blast on the silver instrument, you let the ball go, backing away on the double as all the boys rushed together, aiming to get that ball! "Team work everyone, team work!" You shouted, clapping your hands, finally back at the sidelines. "This isn't about the prize it's about WORKING TOGETHER!"

The mad scramble slowly untangled itself, returning to the more typical formations of a soccer team, each boy playing their position, eager to have the ball passed to him but still passing it themselves when necessary. You watched with excitement, pride, trepidation, and just a bit of lingering confusion yet as you watched the scrimmage progress...
