Hunter was so psyched! Can you imagine, him, a demigod? Wow! He was so fired up, he just HAD to go tell his best friend Alec about this! He couldn't hold it in any longer, he was about to BURST if he couldn't go over to his friend's house and tell him about it!
"Man! I need to go over to Alec's house right NOW!" Hunter shouted out loud.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light, and Hunter disappeared from where he was standing, which was outside on the street, just a block away from his house. In fact, he could see his house from where he was standing. In a blink of an eye, he was suddenly standing in front of Alec's house!
"Whoa! How did I get here so fast?" Hunter wondered. "I must have gotten here because I just wished to be here!"
Hunter knocked on the door and Alex, an anthro dog with brown hair, opened the door. Alec was slightly shorter than Hunter, but he had a friendly face and he immediately recognized his best friend from school when the door opened up.
"Hunter! Dude! Whoa, man! You've been lifting weights?" Alec grinned.
"Listen, I gotta tell you a secret!" Hunter whispered to Alec as he followed him to his bedroom and closed his door behind him. The tiger and the dog sat down on Alec's bed as Hunter got a little more serious. "An angel appeared to me and told me that my parents are gods and that I'm a demigod!"
"What?" Alec replied in disbelief. "You're kidding me, right?"
"Okay, dude! Stand up! I'll show you!"
Alec stood up and presented himself right before his best friend, in the middle of his bedroom.
"Name something you always wanted changed to your body!" Hunter mentioned.
"Uhh... I'd like to be a few inches taller!"
"Alright! I want you to grow three inches taller!" Hunter commanded.
Suddenly, Alec felt a tingling in his back legs! His rear dog-legs began to grow longer and longer, making him stand a few inches taller, just as Hunter had commanded it! When the growth spurt was over, Alec realized that he was now standing at the same height as his friend!
"Whoa! We're the same height now!" Alec noted. "That was amazing! You did it!"
"Told you I was a demigod!" Hunter grinned, as he folded his arms across his chest.
"Wow! Hmmm..." Alec pondered, as he thought about what Hunter had just done to him...
