Kenji paused for a moment as the girl staggered closer, her mouth twisted in a sinister smile. "Forgive me for this life I take." Kenji wispered to himself as he gripped the hilt of his katana tighter. A bit of drool ran down the dead girl's mouth as her glowing red eyes focused on her would-be prey. With one swift motion the tip of the katana was dyed red and poking out of the girl's back. She let out a soft moan and collapsed to the ground as Kenji retracted the blade from her now destroyed heart. He wiped if off on his shirt and looked over the pile of corpses he had amassed over his brief stay here with sadness in his eyes. Outside the dojo was a trail of murdered zombies leading all the way back to his house. He wasn't sure exactly how many he had killed over the last three days, but he was sure the number was well over a hundred.
To him these walking dead were still people, they had loved ones, they had lives... and he had to kill them one by one in self defense. When they first showed up he had been walking home after a tiring day at the dojo teaching his class. He had though that old man that had bumped into him was only a drunkard... until he tried to rip the flesh from his bones with his teeth. A futile warning and a failed disabling strike later the man was on ground, coughing up blood from his crushed chest. Kenji would have reported himself to the police, but as he quickly found out... there were none left. After managing to reach his home he loaded up a bag of supplies and prepared to make his escape... the dojo was as far as he'd been able to get before he was forced to take shelter. He suffered from constant attack, though only from the weak undead that wandered in off the street. He had been able to dispatch them all effortlessly these past few days, but now he was starting to run low on supplies....
