You were walking through the palace halls when you run into Queen Madeline.
"Excuse me, your highness." you say to her. "Have you seen Sarina."
"Well, the last time I saw her, she was in her room," she answers. "and please, [your name], call me Madeline."
"Okay, thanks." you say before taking off to see Sarina. You had something really important to tell her. You were finally going to confess your love to her.
You get to Sarina's room and knock on the door.
"Come in." she called from inside.
When you opened the door and she saw that it was you, she made up her face in disgust.
"Oh, it's you." she said, obviously displeased that you were in her room. "What do you want?"
"Hey, Sarina..." you begin to say. You had no idea how you were gonna do this. "I have something to tell you."
"I have something to tell you, too." Sarina replied. You were hoping that she was faking her hatred of you to mask that she secretly loved you, but you got something that was quite the opposite. Sarina approached you with a deadly glare in her eye.
"Listen, I want nothing to do with you. So do yourself a favor and stay away from me. Got it?" Sarina was really serious. You nod your head dispiritedly, your heart totally crushed. What was worse, you were hiding a gift for Sarina behind your back: a beautiful, red rose.
Later in the palace garden, you were picking off the petals of the rose that you got for Sarina.
"She loves me, she loves me not. She loves me, she loves me not." you repeat to yourself as each petal was plucked. When the last petal was removed, it was "she loves me not". You sunk your head in sadness. You then see Sarina walking into the local streets and some random guy flirting with her. When she rejects him, he starts to force her into an alley. He was assaulting her! What are you gonna do? You love her, but she really hurt your feelings, but you can't just leave her there. AAAARGH! DILEMMA!!!!!!
