This choice: Let her suffer, she already crushed your heart. • Go Back...Chapter #3Let her suffer, she already crushed your heart... by: DoveOfficer You could hardy believe your eyes, the Princess of the Kingdom, Sarina, the beautiful cat girl who had taken your heart, was in grave danger! Jumping to your feet, you dashed over to the stone railing of the castle' garden ready to leap over and into action.
But...you paused. Something felt off. You couldn't place the feeling, but something was gnawing away at your heart. It ached, burned, and left you feeling cold and empty on the inside. Suddenly it began to dawn on you why you were feeling this way, Sarina had broken your heart, and your were furious. The two of you had lived together for years, all the time while your heart was growing fonder, she still seemed distant and cold.
Perhaps you could've lived with that, a lifetime in the "friendzone", but after today, after such a hostile confrontation at the exact moment you were ready to come clean with your feelings.....
You clenched your fingers angrily. The sound of a scream however broke you from your thoughts, pushing you to quickly begin to hop over the railing once more. But again, you stopped.
Why should you care? She obviously doesn't care about you...
The little voice inside your head had you pounding the castle garden's outer railing in frustration. There was no time to be having this argument, something had to be done!
But your heart was conflicted, on one hand you knew you had to save her, at the very least it was the right thing to do, regardless of how you felt. She may have been the Princess, but more importantly, she was innocent of this, and certainly didn't deserve this kind of fate. But still, she had carelessly broken your heart, and a part of you wanted her to pay.
But you still loved her, don't you?
Well, dear hero, DO you?
