There's An App For That

Laura clicked on the "Superhuman Abilities" button, quite excited about all the possibilities this application was offering her. Creating a new person or giving herself confidence by altering her personality were also quite attractive, but for now, she wondered what could hide itself in the Superhuman abilities. The phone loaded a new screen, and Laura found herself reading a long, long, long list of superpowers, more than she could think of. And each time she clicked on one, a new window was offering her hundreds of options. She smiled at the most common ones like "Instant regeneration", "X-ray vision", with options about being able to just see through clothes, "Flying", "Invisibility" and all those things reminding her of all the comics she had read. There were also a bunch of weird powers, like "Body exchange", "Hair control" or "Reality jump", from just original to absolutely freaky.

She also noticed a button "New power" at the end of the list. She clicked and noticed an empty window asking her to describe her power, and she could check a box to "Share it with the community". So, that was how all those weird powers were available, people could add their own...
