Vicky blinked at that, ears giving a few curious little flicks as she peered back at her supervisor, but she just nodded, letting out an annoyed little rumble to herself. “Fine…” She turned and padded away, tail hanging low between her legs, ears flat on her head, she hadn’t been down to the Non-Canine section for months, it was considered a punishment for any canine to be made to work there. She hadn’t worried about it much at all those few times she was padding through it, but her friends had made it sound horrible. Aggressive patients, many of which were larger than the canines forced to work there, it was the reason why usually it was worked by only non-canines. These non-canine nurses and doctors were generally just as aggressive and hostile to the canines made to fill the spaces down there, paid far less, given more experimental or cheaper drugs to use on their patients. It was a split society and everyone knew it.
Vicky didn’t even know what she thought about the split society, between the canines and the rest of the species.
