Ryan just couldn't resist the urge to use the remote to entertain himself at Jake's expense. The two were always playing prank on each other just for the hell of it and, if this remote really did work, Ryan could prank Jake without him even noticing it. He just needed to find someone to swap Jake with.
"I'll be right back dude," Ryan said to his friend. "I need to use the bathroom."
"Alright dude," said Jake.
Ryan headed back upstairs to the bathroom because he actually did have to go. Once he was done, he headed into the kitchen to see if he could find a good target out the window. He looked outside, and a mischievous grin appeared on his face. At that precise moment, Jake's next-door neighbor Claire just happened to be stepping out of her house.
Claire was in Ryan's older sister Ashley's grade, both having just graduated, and her younger brother Dave was in Jake and Ryan's grade and he sometimes hung out with them. Even though Claire and Ashley were in the same grade, they did not like each other at all. They were both popular but where Ashley was uptight and bitchy, Claire was laid back and nice. She was currently wearing a tight pink t-shirt, a denim skirt and a pair of almost knee-high black leather boots without any heels. Her long straight light brown hair was flowing behind her in the light breeze. Ryan knew that it would be funny as hell to swap her with Jake. He pointed the remote at her and selected her as the first target of a Clothes Swap, deciding that would be a funny swap to test first. Ryan then headed back down to the basement to complete the swap.
"What took you so long?" Jake asked Ryan once he got back downstairs.
"Oh nothing," Ryan replied, pointing the remote at his friend. He selected him as the second target of the swap and hit the button to confirm it. A blinding light then shot out of the remote, making it impossible for Ryan to see.
Once his vision cleared, Ryan was greeted with quite the hilarious sight. Jake's short and wavy blond hair was now straight and came halfway down his back, which was now covered by a tight pink t-shirt. Looking further down, Ryan noted that Jake was now also wearing Claire's skirt and boots and his legs were now shaven. Jake was also noticeably wearing make-up. Ryan couldn't help but burst out into laughter.
"What's so funny?" Jake asked Ryan.
"Nothing," Ryan said, getting his laughter under control.
"Clearly that's not the case, otherwise you wouldn't be laughing. What were you laughing about?"
Ryan wasn't sure what to do. Should he tell Jake what he had done or just let it play out for now?
