It was a stormy day. Rain was splashing against the window's so hard that it seemed it would never get dry again. Every now and then you saw a stroke of lightning followed by some thunder. The wind blow hard with the cold of the winter in it. The streets were empty what was't strange.
Everyone looked for their warm houses. A big fire was burning in the fire place of a normal house hold. The youngest girl in this house was watching T.V while eating chips from an extra large bag. Slowly she patted her belly.
Her father was busy putting more wood on the fire. The young twins were busy drawing on paper, cutting of paper and glue it together.
Suddenly they heard a scream and their mother ran in.
"It's terrible. I just stepped on the scale and i gained two pounds. Two whole pounds."
Jessie just blew some hair out of her face. She thought her mother was way too worried about her weight. What was so bad about having some extra pounds. She knew she had a few and did't mind them.
"Honey. Don't worry so much. Or do you think i will love you less if you weigh more. It only means that there is more of you too love."
"No i do worry! I don't want too end up like a fat blob! From now on i'm going on a diet!"
Jessie lost her attention to what she was watching, her dad dropped some wood and even Bobby and Robbie forget the paper for a moment.
"Oh don't be scared. I'm going on a diet. Not you. Besides you three are still growing." She said and looked at her kids. "From now on i eat less and healthy. You all can keep eating normal."
Jessie focused on the T.V again. She loved food and her mother was great at cooking. She also ate everything so a diet where you could't eat delicious food sounded terrible too her. But now she heard that she did't have too follow the diet she did't really cared. She did't know that this was also going to affect her life.
Bobby and Robbie focused their attention back too their paper. Her father put a last piece of wood on the fire and walked over too Jessie.
"So how is Casper doing it at scare school?" He asked friendly.
"Not so good dad. Casper is just way too nice to be a scary ghost." Jessie said not losing her attention to the T.V for a second.
Jessie ate the last chips from the bag and felt her round belly. She wondered what would happen now her mother decided too lose weight.
