The camera flashed. I hoped puckering my lips and holding my boobs would earn me "girly" points, but Jessica, I could immediately see, was not satisfied.
"You look so ridiculous and unnatural!" She yelled, getting in my face and making me cringe. I had a feeling she'd say that even if I looked like a natural, but there's no point to protest or try again. Jessica snapped her fingers at me and the pain hit even harder than before. I collapsed onto the ground, biting my lips and trying not to scream. Screaming would only make it worse, so I held my head against the ground and nearly drew blood from my lip when the pain left...
"Ready to try again?" Jessica said, holding her hand to me.
"Wha...?" I looked up. My mind felt hazy, like a constant blur.
"We're going to take a picture of you in that cute bikini," she said, and I smiled.
"Sweet! This is probably, like, my favorite bikini, I always wear it around my boyfriend 'cause he, y'know, digs it a lot."
"Hey!" Amanda said to Jessica. "Are you trying to mock me?"
"I said I'd make her girly and I did," Jessica said.
"Well, being girly doesn't make you a ditzy, valley girl."
"Relax, it's only for the photo shoot."
I watched the argument between my sisters, which went too fast for me to follow. "So are we gonna take pictures or...what??" I asked. Amanda and Jessica turned to me.
"Yes we are," Jessica said, and we got into position. This time when I struck a pose I felt no hesitation or discomfort. When I grabbed my boobs, I really grabbed them, and I puckered my lips with the benefit of knowing now a bunch of times in which I did kiss a guy. I bent over, I waited for the camera to flash, and Jessica traded places with Amanda. She was a little uncomfortable at first around me, but after a few pictures she opened up to my ditzy self, and we were laughing with each other as Jessica put the camera away and changed the three of us back into our pajamas.
"This sucks!" I said, looking myself over. "Let's take a few more pictures, please?"
"Sorry," Jessica said, "but we've got other plans on the agenda. First I'll have to change your mind back..."
