She stops but wants to get smarter

"This is remarkable! You have a concoction that could enlighten and improve the mind yet waste the potential on a trashy reality show?" Lindsay inquires.

"Yeah its a failed Chris Mclean product that was supposed to cure head aches. Turns out people don't like having melon heads. Who knew?" Blaineley teases.

"It's a fair trade-off. Though I deduce that you plan to use my newfound intelligence and craving for entertainment. I suspect that if I prove victorious in this next challenge I will be compensated with more of that serum?"

The hostess scowls and reads the cue cards. "I WAS going to announce that but way to steal my thunder."

"If you find enjoyment in the suffering of others, you must live a very pitiful, sad life. Who hurt you, Mildred?" Lindsay asks, placing a hand on Blaineley's shoulder.

Blaineley shakes it off and says with a cracking voice. "If you take part in this quiz, you will be rewarded with more of that 'genius juice' for every right answer you give. For every wrong answer, you will take a serum that makes you dumber."

An intern wheels out a drink cart with shot glasses, one row filled with the serum she just drank and the other a different color. Lindsay examines them closely and then announces, "Judging by the portions and comparing it to what I consumed, these will respectively either raise my IQ 50 points or lower it."

"Only one way to find out." Blaineley replies, ready to take Lindsay down a peg.
