To Blaineley's irritation, Lindsay was acing every question she tossed at her. Even when she threw in some brain teasers that had stumped even the greatest minds of all time were answered like it was no big deal. And with each correct answer, she helped herself to anothwr vial and her oversized cranium grew even larger. Before all this, she would be worried about her looks but as her IQ rose Lindsay's priorities shifted. She realized just how foolish she had been all these years and how her castmates took advantage of her stupidity. Some of them were genuinely kind like Beth but not many. With her newfound intelligence, she planned to not only win this competition, but make sure her castmates got what they deserved.
She downed the final vial, her reached an alarming size rivaling a life raft. How she managed to keep her balance baffled Blaineley and the other girls. Holding in a smile, Lindsay gained more than just heightened intelligence, but also telepathy and telekinesis. She was currently using it to keep her head upright and from falling over, but also using it to read the minds of everyone around her.
'Lousy bimbo, McLean must be feeding her the answers somehow.' The hostess thought.
Apparently Blaineley wasn't pleased with Lindsay passing with flying colors and managed to outwit her impossible questions. The brilliant blonde had a plan to make her pay too, and pit the other contestants against each other.
"Alright, give it up for Ms. Smarty Pants!" Blaineley announced with false sweetness. "Now go back up there and lets get this show rolling." Just as Blaineley pulled out a card containing the name of the next contestant and what their challenge would be, Lindsay stopped her.
"Actually Mildred, I have a proposition for you. What say we up the stakes a little bit and put my intelligence to the test. If I can guess who will go next and what their challenge is, you will join them. If I'm wrong, I'll take your place and get double whatever the contestant gets. How's that for drama? " Lindsay inquired with a fold of her arms.
Blaineley was about to flat out reject the offer when the audience broke out cheering their approval. The hostess growled and glared at the genius. "Make that triple and you got a deal!" She tore open the envelope and Lindsay read her mind with ease. "Alright then, what's your guess?"
"Guessing would imply I'm going off of chance. I KNOW who it is and what you planned." Without even looking, Lindsay pointed to the contestants. Specifically, the one whose name was on the card, and it was....
