Chapter #4A change in physique by: DJ Jaxx   It was a sunny morning in Parthenon city, the first day of Carolyn Elson's Junior Year at High school.
Carolyn was a black haired girl with cerulean-gray eyes, svelte with an impressive bust she was easily the hottest 6 year old at her school. Carolyn was also a rather popular girl, mostly due to her status as a cheer leader. While she could be vapid at times she wasn't a rotten girl, but she could get bossy.
As she walked in, a clique of best friend wannabes and some old cheer leaders from last year said hi. Carolyn waved to them and smiled. She recalled that try outs were in a few weeks and that she'd be helping to pick those who did and didn't make it onto the team.
As she began to think about what kind of girls would be trying out this year when she bumped into an old friend of hers.
"Oh sorry there...Kim?" she said in shock. Kim was Carolyn's best friend since middle school. She had always been a tall, frizzy red headed girl with freckles peppering her face. Kim Sullivan also was in shape the last time Carolyn saw her, but this was no longer true. It was as if she had her body weight practically double. Kim now had a pudgy frame to put it lightly. Her entire body was caked in fat, and the large top she wore showed just a little bit of her massive belly, and showed signs of tightness. The large capris the girl wore must've been around size 46 at least.
"Oh hey Carry. Long time no see!" Kim said. "I missed you!"
"Hey Kim....What happened to you?"
"Well you know how my dad is a food connoisseur? Well during the summer he took me and my mom with him on the job and we got to eat at a lot of really good food from some five star restaurants. The people who worked at those places were so nice they even gave me free meals if I asked." Kim said in excitement, but a few moments later she looked embarrassed. "The thing is though I kinda noticed that I gained a few pounds..."
A few was putting it lightly, but Carolyn said nothing. "Well it's not that noticeable. I bet no one will say a thing."
"Really? That's good because I was thinking of trying out for the cheerleaders."
"You were?!" the raven haired teenager asked her friend. Kim nodded her plump head a few times.
"Yeah. We didn't get to hang out over the summer like we used to so I kinda wanted to use this as a make up. I've even practiced all the school cheers I saw you guys do at last years games."
"Well we were talking about changing the routines, so you may want to hold off..." Carolyn said, not wanting her friend to embarrass herself. Too bad Kim was never good at taking hints.
"That's okay. I can learn the new ones then." she said as the bell rang. "Oh that's the class. I'll talk to you later ok?"
"Alrighty. Bye Kim." Carolyn said waving before parting ways with her friend. Inside she felt a twinge of disgust and pity for her friend. To a girl like Carry her physical image was very important. If Kim hadn't eaten so much over the summer Carolyn would've thought her friend would be a shoo in for the squad, but because of her weight it was less than likely. The team already had it's heavy girls for the pyramid and other routines, but even they were barely pudgy.
'How could Kim have let herself go like that? the teen thought as she shuffled to class with the myriad of other students. She would rather die than be fat. She never really liked overweight people, more than likely because of her mother. Dianne Elson, to Carry there would be no one more embarrassing to have as a mother. Obese, divorced, and working a boring office job, she was everything Carolyn never wanted to be. Well maybe I can help Kim lose the weight...I won't let her get that bad.
With that he entered Mr. Hanse's class. She looked about and saw some familiar faces and some new ones. Among the old students here was David Parker, a handsome well built guy that Carolyn liked. He wasn't on any teams, but he did go to the games. So far he was single too. Maybe Carolyn would make her move after class.
The late bell rang and yet Mr. Hanse didn't show. The class began to talk idly, about the missing teacher, break ups, tv, and petty fights between classmates, when a young looking man came in and wrote his name on the board. He couldn't be more than five years older than the class.
"Good morning. My name is Mr. Edwin Garner." he said, "I'll be taking over Mr. Hanse's class."
"Excuse me Eddy." said a new boy.
"Mr. Garner."
"Uh yeah. Well what happened to Hanse?"
"Mr. Hanse retired all of a sudden. I was called in to take his place for the time being." Mr. Garner explained. This was odd considering Mr. Hanse was only in his forties. "In any case class lets begin our Physical Education class."
Despite the odd goings on Carry wasn't bothered until...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
