Lindsey woke up on a table, surrounded by figures in yellow radiation suits. She screamed and jumped off the surgical table. Looking around, her mind took in the stainless steel testing room, the table surrounded by medical equipment, with glass walled balcony with several figures observing the room. The more immediate threat was the four yellow figures that had surrounded the table, and now trying to surround her. Lindsey sobbed, "Where am I? What do you want with me?"
A pinging sound came from a sound speaker in the wall, catching the attention of the yellow figures, as well as Lindsey. "Young lady, you were found at your residence with extremely high levels of radiation. We removed you to this site, a military bio-contamination research center. You are still producing a severe amount of radiation, possibly from contacting the meteorite in your yard. Can you tell us what you remember?”
Lindsey looked up, and saw what she believed to be a general in the upper window. She called out, “There was a slimy blob in the meteor. I touched it, and it grabbed my arm. That’s all I remember.”
One of the figures in the yellow radiation suits cleared his throat, and caught Lindsey’s attention. He questioned, “Listen Miss, uh…”
“Lindsey. Now, WHO ARE YOU?”
“Doctor Von Shout. I am head scientist with a PHD in nuclear science, and a Masters in Human Biology. Now, I realize this is all very strange to you, Lindsey, but I need you to get on the table, just so we can scan you. No probing, no needles, for now. We want to find out what caused you to faint and to emit the radiation.”
