I gave a little yawn as I curled up on my bed. And the next thing I knew, Rex was licking my face.
"Rex, leave me alone..."
When I realized I fell asleep, I sat upright on my bed. I looked at the clock, seeing that it was already noon. I slept for an extra 3 hours this morning! I got up and stretched again, wondering what I should do. Rex was whining at me, which must mean that he needed to go use the tree outside. So I opened my bedroom door, and he ran out immediately.
"Hey! Rexxy, where are ya goin'?"
That was Scott, my little brother! Why he was upstairs is beyond me, though. Usually, he's downstairs watching TV. I closed the door and took a good look at myself. Other than the changes that have happened already, nothing seemed to have changed. That was until I checked my face, and found out I have brown fur all over me from the neck down. I look like I grew a beard of fur!
"Hey Tom! Aren't we going out today? Come on, you promised!"
Oh no, I remembered! I promised my little bro that we'd go to the park on the first day of summer, which is today!
"Um...*cough* S-sorry Scott, but...Ugh, I don't feel so good." I said.
"Oh...Well, okay then..."
I heard his footsteps moving away, and I was glad...Wait, I heard his footsteps? I pulled my hands up to my ears, and felt that they were pointed now! And there was some fur growing all over it, and they were moving up my head too! They stopped on top of my head, so I now had wolf ears! I can't believe the changes were happening this fast. For one, I am glad that they don't hurt at all. So far, the worst thing that's happened is that they itch a little. I scratch my chest, feeling another itch there. But my hands felt fur underneath my clothes, which must mean that my whole body is covered in fur now! I think the last thing to change would be my face.
I just laid on my bed, waiting for the change to come, but it didn't. I looked outside my window, seeing a number of people pass by my house for personal reasons. I sighed, waiting for my still-human face to change. I then heard footsteps outside my door.
"Tom, I wanna play!" Scott said from beyond the door.
"Ugh, Scott! I told you, I don't feel good!
"You sound fine to me."
Before I could reply, the door handle turned as Scott stepped into my room. He looked at me, and just stared at me. Then, my face started to tingle. I pull a hand/paw up and feel fur growing over it, covering it. Then my mouth and nose pull forward, forming a snout on my face. My teeth even feel weird, like they're changing too. And right then and there, I was done. Scott just stared at me, obviously surprised at what he's seeing.
"Uh...So...Y-yeah..." was all I could say.
"You're a werewolf? That's so cool!"
Scott suddenly runs up to me and starts asking me stuff like how did I get bit, or if it hurt, and other questions I didn't quite catch.
"Okay, okay, Scott. Stop. Stop!" I said, holding my hands out.
"Wait, where's your tail?"
We suddenly heard this ripping sound, so I looked behind me to see my new wolf tail sticking out of a ripped hole from my pants.
"*sigh* I wonder how I'm gonna explain this to mom and dad." I said.
