Hannah tries to cast a spell on you, but it doesn't work. "Mommy gave me a book. I've been training myself. WHY won't it work!"" Hannah fumes, thinking back. She thinks back about how she discovered Mom's and Hayley's abilities, and decided to join in. Hannah asked Mom for a magic book for over three days, before she finally gave in, thinking that Hannah knows about magic, but can't use it yet. She spent most of the afternoon trying various spells, but she dropped her book just before you came home. Since she is just beginning, she needs that book to learn and use magic.
You shake your head at your sister's bratty behavior, and decide to spend some time in your room, and take a closer look at the book. Once you're locked in, you open the book, expecting something, but all you see is blank pages, since you're a guy. You keep turning, but see more and more pages of nothing. "Who's book is this anyway? Why buy something that is blank?" you think, trying not to laugh. you're glad no one can see you, and you eventually deside Mel probably planted it, so she could get a laugh out of you reading a blank book on 'magic'.
