"John. want to play with me?" a cutesy, bratty voice asks you. You want to scream, since you only been home for a short time, and Hannah is already pestering you about playing with her. You don't know why she doesn't ask one of your sisters, since they would be far more receptive to all those girly things Hannah likes doing. Instead she always asks you first.
"Maybe later. School's tough and I just want to relax." you eventually say. You put the book down, an start to ignore your sister. Hannah though, spots the book. Unlike you, she knows about your family's secret, and even more worringly, if you knew it, she has secretly begun to train herself in magic. While Mom suspects this, she hasn't done anything in case either you or Mel finds out about magic. Hannah is annoyed by you not playing her any attention, and doesn't quite understand why you are reluctant to play with her.
"I think I'll use a spell on him" Hannah thinks to herself, confirmed when you say that kids are more energetic than teens, and that she should run about somewhere...
