It’s a woman. And a well-armed one at that. She brandishes a large spear decorated with feathers and other trinkets, and her body is covered with form-fitting plated armor. Even in the dim light, you notice just how shapely her curves are. You can’t see her face very well, but a cascade of brown hair is splayed out over her shoulders.
“Ahhh. Well, well...” she murmurs in a haughty but playful voice. She notices that you’ve come to, and strides over to you, armour clattering with each step.
“A fellow treasure hunter is it?” she coos, standing over your chained form. “Or is it a lost researcher, seeking the wisdom of the ancients?”
Her eyes are a deep blue, and her face is quite stunning - save for the battle scars across her cheeks. She tucks her ornate spear under her arm, and waves its tip towards you.
“Or perhaps a shape-shifter, looking for new prey to enslave?”
“N-no! I’m no monster,” you stutter, pulling against the manacles binding you. “I’m just looking for treasure, same as you.”
Your captor chuckles, her armour rattling with her voice. “Of course, that’s just what a shape-shifter would tell me.” She kept her spear trained on you, but you could see the flicker of a smile on her lips.
“Tell you what, my friend - or whatever you may be,” the woman said, barely suppressing a giggle. “Give me whatever treasure you’ve found already, and I may just believe you.”
Your stomach turned over. You had just arrived at these god-forsaken ruins when you were knocked out. What possible treasure could you offer her?
“Uhh, well,” your eyes search the barely-lit dungeon for some kind of answer. Your bare chest is mere inches from your captor’s spear tip, and there is no way you could elude this clearly experienced adventurer.
