Someone you know gains the ability to possess others...

This choice: Offer her a talk at your house  •  Go Back...
Chapter #5

Offer her a talk at your house

    by: Unknown
"Hey...", you called out without realizing it. Ms. Holstein or at least, her body abruptly stopped in her tracks and face turned to you. "Do, you want to have a talk at my house?" you stammered, not even sure of what you were saying, but in your mind you had began to formulate a plan to benefit yourself.

As you predicted, Ms. Holstein's face quickly turned into that of a very moved expression. "I figured, you really love me, you know... even going as far to do this kind of stuff." you sounded more confident now, and the sight of Ms. Holstein's face that was about to burst into tears of happiness, elevated your self confidence, however, you wanted to be sure that you would nail this stuff. "I'm sorry, that I didn't know how much you love me."

Suddenly, Veronica ran to you and gave you a hug, although you can't see it, but you guessed that tears have began to run across her borrowed cheeks. She sniffed and unsure what to do, you put your arms around her and patted her back slowly. "We should head back now", you gently whispered. She finally let go and you breathed in again and smiled at her.

You promised to meet Veronica again outside after half an hour, after you got dressed again and calmed yourself down also began to formulate your next move. However, as Veronica can possess anyone, this could be hard. You told her before to dump Ms. Holstein's body and assured her that even if she's plain looking, you would still love her and began all that speech about inner beauty and crap like you always want someone to really love you. In that happy moment, she quickly agreed to whatever you said and went to the women's bathroom to do the deed.

Veronica was back in her green flanel skirt, with the yellow sweater and her usual thick glasses when you saw her waiting at the school gate. She waved and smiled at you, in which you replied with a smile as well. Usually Tracy would be the one waiting, but as your relationship got worsened, both of you just went home separately. The trip back to your house would be described as ordinary to anyone else, but not to you. Throughout the trip, with the train and with the bus, Veronica just stayed close to you and hugged your arm like crazy. You were feeling good that you were loved by someone, but the fact that she was Veronica kind off put you off, but considering her powers, it's best to appear on her side.

You opened the door and was immediately greeted by the sight of your mom and little sister. "Hi mom, Clare," you greeted them as you usually would and was about to head upstairs, however your mom quickly stopped you, "Timmy, aren't you going to introduce your friend to me?". You groaned silently. Veronica however, quickly introduced herself "Hi Mrs. Gately, I'm Veronica, I'm in the same class with Timmy." The two of them quickly get along with one another and began to chat happily. You knew this was coming, so you just sat yourself and took a muesli bar from the fridge and began to chomp away, waiting for the conversation to end.

Finally, Veronica excused herself and said that you and her need to do some projects, which of course was a lie. Both of you then went up to your room, as you passed Heather's room, you could see her listening to music and reading something that you presumed was a novel. You decided to ignore her first and just went into your room with Veronica.
