Third floor, sporting goods, food court , undead

Gary sat on the couch in the mangers office of DAVE'S SPORT!, a sporting good store in the local mall, a baseball bat sat by his side. "Look Shelly, those shutters won't hold forever and the food we had is almost gone, we have to go." He said to her, trying to be as calm as he could.

"I know that, but we could stay here, help is on the way." Shelly, his wife said standing by the desk and fiddling with things.

"There is no garentee of that, we don't even know if anyone knows we are here."

"Didn't you call the police before we left?" She asked.

"Well, yes, but we don't know if the police are even still out there, they could all be dead for all we know." He said.

"You're overreacting, why would the police not be able to handle this?"

"Because I don't think anyone could handle this, there are so many of them everywhere now, plus all those mutations, if there are police I doubt if they are trying to help the citizens, they're probably hiding out just like we are." He said.

"Dear they wouldn't be do--"

"Yes they would! Everyone is trying to stay alive! No one is doing their job anymore, it's pointless to try and wait for help to arrive, we are leving this store, going to find a car and leave this city behind and that's final!" Gary said, this was the closest he came to yelling at Shelly ever and she went quiet, she looked on the edge of tears, in truth. Gary felt horrible at what he had done, but it was necessary, there was no longer any help. he thought he should at least explain this to her.
