Fia blushed at the lustful looks she got as she passed men in the halls. Though the women were hardly any better, giving her looks of envy or disdain. All eyes went straight to her now enormous breasts. Several times she thought to duck into an unoccupied room and turn back to normal, or perhaps take the guard potion. Yet, this was certainly the best guise to learn of Prince Kelos' true intentions, so she pressed on, and eventually found herself standing outside the prince's door. She was about to knock when she noticed voices coming from inside. Instead she pressed her ear against the door and listened.
"...In fear! I don't understand what I'm doing wrong!" a voice Fia recognized as Prince Kelos called out.
"Maybe the princess is bad with people," a woman's voice replied. Just who was this in the prince's room? Did he have a mistress yet is still pursuing me? Fia wondered, growing angry at the thought.
"She also might be worried about your reputation as a scoundrel taking advantage of your maids," a man's voice added.
"Totally unfounded accusations!" Kelos insisted.
"The reputation is there regardless of their truth," the woman said. "Plus there's the war. She was probably told we're all monsters, and now she's put in a position where she might have to marry the... oh what did they call you, the butcher of Alicot?"
"Yes, they did give us some rather colorful names," Kelos replied. "So how can I get close to her?"
"Perhaps I can help with that," the man said. "I brought several disguise scrolls. You can use one to transform into a servant and get close to Princess Fia, and ask her what she thinks about you."
Fia was somewhat amused by Prince Kelos being presented with the same idea she had been, and for pretty much the same reason too.
"That's a good idea, scribe!" Kelos said.
"How about this yellow one with blue trim?" the woman asked.
"No, that would be a bad idea," the scribe said. "That one will turn the user into a copy of Princess Fia."
"Do I even want to know why you have such a scroll?" Kelos immediately replied.
Fia thought this might be a good time to make her presence known. Though perhaps she should wait for the prince to use the scroll? It might even be worth changing back before in that case.
