you become whatever costume you wear
This choice: "I'm afraid not, sir."  •  Go Back...
Chapter #7

"I'm afraid not, sir."

    by: Unknown
"So you can make me look like the old me, but I'm stuck as this `sexy nerd girl' for the rest of my life?" you say, almost wail.

"The skin-suit will make you feel as if you've changed back into your former self, sir," says the fake Ingrid Bergman. "No sensation of wearing a costume, completely functional, you can get a woman pregnant while you're wearing it. You can simply put it on and never take it off."

"But I'll really be this woman!" you say.

"You DID sign the release, sir," she says. "You accepted the small but real possibility that due to a psychic sympathy between your real body and mind, and the false ones provided by your, ah, `Hot Nerd Girl' costume, your flesh would be permanently transformed into that of the person represented by the costume."

"Did you, Jake?" asks Christina. "And did you even read it?"

"Yes," you say, your lovely female voice sounding forlorn even to you, "but... nobody reads those! And, I mean, `psychic sympathy,' what the hell is that?"

"Your true self is, in fact, exceedingly similar to a self suitable for the woman personated by the `Hot Nerd Girl' costume," says "Ingrid."

"What the eff does that mean?" you ask.

"She means that at heart, in your mind and soul, you really are a hot nerd girl, Jake," says Christina. "Or close enough not to matter. So the costume made you into one. For keeps."

"Whose side are you on, anyway, Christina?" you ask her, angry at both girls now.

"This is exceedingly rare, sir," says "Ingrid." She sighs. "We're doing as much for you as we can, despite very limited legal obligations. You'll be near enough yourself again tomorrow afternoon. Perhaps the young lady and I can find some additional clothes for you to wear in the meantime."

You feel somewhat abandoned as Christina and "Ingrid" disappear into the back rooms. You hear distant giggles and laughter, and in about fifteen minutes they return, Christina laden with several big shopping bags -- surely containing more than a change or two of clothes for your newly female body. The girls actually kiss before Christina offloads the bags onto you and hustles you out of the shop.

"We're going to my place, Jake," she says.

You have the following choices:

1. You don't argue.

*Noteb*
2. You want to go to your place.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
