Chapter #6
not quite yet, come back tommorrow.
by: Unknown
"Let me see whether we scanned your original body," says the beautiful shopgirl, who looks and sounds oddly familiar. She lets you both in and goes behind the counter and then to a back room while you and Christina wait at the counter.
"Didn't you recognize her, Jake?" asks Christina. "That's not that girl's real body, and I bet she got herself stuck in it the way you're stuck in yours, only on purpose!"
"Was she in one of those old movies you like?" you ask.
"She's a young Ingrid Bergman!" says Christina. "She's talking in a local accent, and the hair and makeup are today's, but she's Ingrid! I should tear her skin right off her and put it on -- except it's probably her real skin now! Bitch."
Presently the fake Ingrid Bergman comes back, and you see why Christina envies her: Christina looking out of those eyes would be a lot hotter than she is now. "Was this you?" she asks, handing you an inkjet-printed picture of your usual self.
"Yes!" you almost squeal in your feminine voice, then calm down a bit. 'Yes, that was me."
"Late tomorrow afternoon we'll have a head-to-toe skin-suit costume ready. It can make any woman look like this," she says.
"Any woman? Christina here could wear it? You could wear it?" you ask.
"Yes, uh... sir," she says, "and exactly resemble the young man in the picture, but I assume that you'll be wearing it. Bring a change of clothes."
