A young man maybe only a year or two younger than himself, donned in a red hoodie and a backwards baseball cap. Behind his opposition, Silver could clearly see a somewhat portly girl in overalls coddling her ridiculously rotund Marill in her arms. Silver turned red in embarrassment for a brief second before regaining his hard-as-rock composure. "Absolutely nothing, now get out of my way!" he shouted, shrugging the younger boy off with a mighty shove. Immediately, he dashed further out of the podunk town of New Bark.
Making sure he was securely out of sight (which was pretty hard to be in such a small town), Silver quickly dashed back into town through the trees, swerved to the left and hid behind the town's conveniently placed Trainer Memo sign; putting him awfully close to the twin twerps no doubt discussing the strange encounter. How could they not, when confronted with a threat as fearsome as the master thief, soon to be master pokemon trainer, Silver?
Silently, the redheaded offender waited behind the town's tiny centerpiece for what felt like hours. He and that chubby girl seemed to be friends, what kind of man would associate with such an annoying porker Silver couldn't guess. But finally, after their exchange was over and done with, the boy headed into the lab. Great, witnesses; Silver hated witnesses. They were always so willing to talk. Stealthilly, Silver slithered silently over to the lab. Currently on the wall opposite to his previous stalking position, it was only a few sluethy steps to his ideal post...
Hey wait, were those stairs on the side of Elm's lab?! The layout never said anything about housing upstairs! He would certainly have a word with his intel. Actually, judging from a thief's standpoint, there was no greater position to be than the outlet to the roof, from this angle there was an observation window clearly visible about where those pokeballs were supposed to be. If he could just get up there, pulling off this hiest would be easy! On the other hand he could always just break through the window when the time was right...
