Before anything else, you start swimming away from the center of the bowl; lest someone becomes thirsty before you make a move. But that won't help, since the first spoonful anyone takes would send waves that would turn your swimming pool into a raging ocean, and possibly towards the next scoop of punch to be taken into a glass. Knowing that, it doesn't get any better since the bowl is too steep to climb and the only thing besides you and a lake's worth of drink is the spoon that was best to avoid.
Wait, of course! The spoon's handle is the best way out of the bowl! Sure it may be risky, downright suicide even. But the alternative is avoiding it as the party goes and hope you don't get drank before the bowl empties or the party ends. Even if it gets emptied the way out would still be harder if it's not by that handle and to hell with that; so you might as well take your chances now.
You start swimming towards the spoon, which thankfully isn't that far to begin with, only to see it lifting up the air by Tina. She's currently chatting with the others, so she doesn't pay attention to the bowl besides making sure she doesn't spill anything. She takes multiple spoonfuls; all the while you get thrown around by the waves. You can't help but to panic as you think either you will run out of breath beneath the punch or she's going to scoop you up and there won't be a way to not get drank. As you flail about she gets her glass full of punch and sets the spoon back down.
When you realize she's over you calm yourself down a bit and go back to the spoon, again thankfully near as she put it down near where the waves carried you, which wasn't that far to begin with. Neverthless, you hurry up your pace before anyone else decides to want some punch and the experience is repeated.
In your haste you forgot to take into account that you're swimming just above the spoon. You bolt directly towards the grip in hopes of escaping this watery prison, and just as you're near the grip everything takes a lift as the next party-goer comes for a bit of refreshment. The sudden lift took you by surprise and you lost your balance and slipped your head beneath the surface. You tried to regain your composture but then the pool tilted backwards and took you with it.
You were drowning now, but after a brief fall you splashed onto another lake. You rushed towards the surface and gasped for air as you hoped in vain that whoever it was slipped her grip on the spoon and dropped you back onto the bowl. But as you saw when your eyes cleared, this wasn't the bowl, this was much smaller, but still pretty big on your perspective. You panicked again, but soon enough another spoonful came cascading towards you, causing you to sink. Frantically you swam upwards trying to surface, but then another one came in and sank you again. This went on for another two times before ceasing, and by now you almost drowned. Gasping for fruit-scented air again, you surfaced and breathed while clearing your eyes from the stuff.
As you did, the pool lifted once again; someone was lifting the glass. Crap!
Luckily for your pant-soiled self, whoever served you into her drink wasn't taking a gulp just yet, and was merely holding it. This gave you time to look up, and to see that your fate was in hands of... | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
