This choice: Sally, your own mother almost drowned you • Go Back...Chapter #6Sally, your own mother almost drowned you by: We Smile It didn't take more than a second of staring upwards for you to identify your mother's choice in clothing overshadowing your swimming pool; the dress she always used for her reunions and whenever she wanted to look classy without spending too much hassle in preparations, though anything beyond her bust was blocked from your view. Even when it feels kind of awkward, you can't help but to feel attracted to her enormous form; she just seems so overwhelmingly beautiful, but at this size she also feels threatening. More so when you take your position into consideration, where a single sip can take you into a no expenses tour through her digestive system. It seems a bit impossible though, the tall walls are made of slippery glass, and even then it meant climbing your colossal mother to safety while not falling down. At least you got all this punch so you don't get thirsty while thinking.
Sally was currently talking to her friends while you were figuring how to get out of this disaster waiting to happen, and so as you were floating and considering your options you eavesdropped some bits of what they were talking about; something about Cora having some issues, Beth's work, and other things you couldn't figure out; which although irrelevant to you it was at least some ambiance to the otherwise calm waves that carried you around while you awaited either a solution to your problem or a problem of dissolution in mom's belly; with the former hopefully happening instead of the latter. The volume of their echoing voices could tone down a bit though.
Just then, the world feels like it's taking a forceful lift upwards as Sally takes her glass closer in to drink some punch. The waves become violent as you are thrown everywhere and even slam into a wall of the glass at some point, good thing that the impact only hurt a little. When it started to calm it also started to tilt to its side, and as soon as you regained your pace you cleared your eyes only to feel the current drawing you away and your mom's amplified face as she was opening her cavernous mouth.
Instantly you turned around and began to swim with everything you got to avoid getting sucked in, which was easier said than done as Sally held the glass with some inclination. With each *GULP!* that echoed through you became more and more panicked, to the point that you just stopped taking breaks to breathe and started paddling like crazy. This proves more than you can handle though, and soon enough you surface only to see mom's gaping maw in full detail as she takes more and more of her drink: her teeth glimmering through the dim light, her tonsils and uvula arching the path that flowed everything into her throat, and her tongue partly beneath the flowing river, only rising on the back briefly everytime a *GULP* was heard and took some liquid down with it. You had to turn back and resume swimming now!
The bottom of the glass seemed to get farther away with each passing second, and at the same time the gulping sound got louder and louder, along with the smell of her breath becoming stronger. As you were just about to fall into the river already in her mouth; by some combination of a adrenaline-high helped swimming, convenient starting position, and pure luck, you managed to hold out as Sally took the glass away from her mouth and put it down the table. Because you were still swimming away towards the bottom you took a dive when Sally shifted the balance of the glass.
Making your way back to the surface, you were shocked to see that the walls of the glass now towered way taller than before, yet Sally didn't seem to take more than a few gulps out of the full glass. Still shocked from that last experience, you relaxed yourself thinking that after that Sally wouldn't take another drink in a while and proceeded to float on your back and just take a break. The waves that were becoming less frequent became more relaxing as you just floated still and let them take you whenever they please, it felt almost like being at a pool; albeit a fruit scented one. Only the ceiling and the glass walls could be seen from here, although looking through the glass the image of the party made itself almost clear, yet the sound of their conversation was still loud enough to be heard.
You were closing your eyes while trying to ignore all that noise and get some peace to rest for a moment; and sure enough, some time passed up. All the while you were thinking about how close that was; to think that a bit closer, that if you hadn't swam that much, you would be now inside mom's belly waiting to be digested, and she wouldn't even notice you were gone until much later after it was too late. The idea itself of being drank its chilling enough, let alone if you lived long enough in her stomach to feel her digestive juices dissolve you along with her lunch; so you try not to think about it anymore. Before you could think of anything to calm down, the glass started lifting once again. The sudden movement made you flinch as the punch started making a wave pool of itself again, one of which takes you beneath the waves. As you surface treading punch and gasping for air, you saw the outline of the hand that was taking the glass towards her mouth. While you cleared your eyes to face your mom and repeat the experience, you heard her voice call out: | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
