The bathroom tap refuses to turn off. You know you have more important matters to deal with, but soon the basin is overflowing with water and no matter how you wrestle with the tap the flow of water keeps getting stronger and stronger. Soon there's a waterfall of water streaming onto the bathroom floor. You slam the door to stop it flooding through into your bedroom.
Very soon you're up to your ankles in water. As you rummage through the plumbing beneath your sink, trying to turn off the water at it's source, you fail to notice that the bathroom tiles seem to be merging together and that the bathroom around you is growing larger, more cavernous.
"TURN OFF!" You yell, wrapping your blue scaled hands around the cold-water pipe and yanking. It breaks, releasing a massive torrent of water that knocks you backwards. You're momentarily submerged. When you surface -
