It should have been a normal day. Should have. You should never have snuck into that garage. But you did, and now you were paying for it. Wasn't ENTIRELY your fault, anyone would have been curious.
But let's back up.
You were just walking home from school one day, and noticed an odd device on the ground. When you picked it up, you saw a little note at the bottom that read 'Property of Tails'. And a button labelled "Do Not Push". So of course, you pushed it. And the little device blew up in your face in a strange cloud of orange smoke.
The next thing you knew, you were lying face up on the ground.
You slowly struggled to your feet. The device had been fried it seemed, or wasn't complete. How stupid. Then you realized something. The world had gotten a lot.... bigger. Or you were a lot smaller. Maybe an inch tall at best. And you also saw what perhaps had given the device it's power. An odd looking orange colored gem. A chaos emerald though you didn't know it.
Suddenly the earth began to shake and a shadow fell over you! You turned and jumped at the sight of what appeared to be an anthromorphic being. And you recognized them! It was....
