Gohan was in the kitchen cooking. Chi-Chi was with Bulma on a girls-only vacation. So Gohan stepped up to do the cooking, since he knew his dad would only burn whatever he cooks.
But tonight, Gohan was trying something different. He found a recipe for a potion that would increase strength and since he knew his dad was always trying to get stronger, he made some to pour in his dads water.
After a while, dinner was ready and Gohan called his dad, who was lying down on his bed. They started eating and just like Gohan wanted, Goku drank from his water. Gohan hoped it would work because he had made a whole container of the potion.
After they were finished with dinner, Goku started moving around in his chair.
"That's weird," Goku said.
"What is, Dad?" Gohan asked, pretending not to know.
"My chair feels a little small". This was not the answer Gohan was expecting. He thought his dad would feel a rush of energy or something. But when they both got up, Gohan saw something odd. His dad looked like he had grown a couple inches. Goku though, hadn't noticed it yet. Gohan also noticed that he could see lines on Goku's shirt, lines that looked like he was growing a belly.
