"Hadouken!" yelled out Sakura after having countered one of her sensei's moves, thus setting up the perfect opportunity to use one of the trademark moves of her mentor, Ryu.
Even though Dan had come to expect the counter move the pink-gi wearing marshal arts was still startled and blown slightly away from the chi force behind Sakura's attack. Dan grunted briefly as he lowered his well-placed arms.
Even after all this time Sakura's potential would still surprise Dan from time to time. There was a reason Sakura reminded not just him but many of Ryu's own infinite fighting potential.
'The kid's come a long way since I first took her under my gifted wing.' Dan commented to himself silently before telling Sakura to take a break. The girl nodded while she wiped the sweat off her forehead with a towel tossed over to her by Dan.
"Keep it at kiddo and maybe one day you'll be able to fight your friend on equal footing." stated Dan as Sakura walked pass him. The girl paused for a moment before turning back and eying her teacher with a proud smile.
"Maybe? No way Sensei...one day I will prove myself of being his equal! You just watch!"
Dan only shook his head in amusement as he watched Sakura bounce away happily.
