As Sakura made her way home following her training with Dan she began to think over his words to her from before.
"Just like I said one day I'll run into Ryu-san again and when I do I'll show him how strong I've got."
Pounding her gloved fists together Sakura smiled a content grin.
"I can't wait to see how strong he's become as well. Ryu-san never stops training or fighting so beating him in a match won't be easy but like always I'll give it my all!"
"I see that he is still the focal point in your life, Sakura-san."
Sakura paused in her tracks as she instantly knew of the voice that had called out to her.
"Karin-san..." mumbled Sakura with something of a grin on her lips. Being the rival to the heiress of the Konzuki name Sakura was rarely surprised anymore whenever Karin seem to pop up and challenge her for a battle.
By comparison Sakura could only imagine this is how it was for Ryu who must be pestered by constant challengers on a day to day basis, it was something that made Sakura happy to know that she had at least one more thing in common with her mentor.
"What do you want?" replied Sakura casually with a tint of humor.
"How rude." huffed Karin from a distance, "You know exactly what I want. You and I will now engage in battle. Are you up for it, Sakura?"
"I've gotten stronger since last time, Karin, but if you're up for it then I'm game." answered Sakura with a quick pop of her knuckles.
"Good to hear...because so have I." replied Karin.
Sakura could sense the confidence in Karin's vocal tone. It seemed this time Karin was ready to go full-force on her and being the fighter she was Sakura welcomed the challenge.
Shifting her weight and turning over Sakura came to eye Karin face to face.
