While Fira contemplates what to do, she hears voices echoing down the corridor from the labyrinth. A male voice is saying, "look! There's the main chamber. All the treasure indicated on the map should be in there!" They would have quite the trouble if anything were to happen to their map.
A second male voice says, "what about the monster guarding it?!" Fira frowns, monster seems to be going a bit too far.
"The traps and such were all in the labyrinth," says the first person dismissively. "Anything else dangerous would've also been there and we would've come across by now."
The labyrinth turns out to be echoing really far and it is several more moments before the light from their torches (American) are visible and a few more moments before they round the corner. The group consists of four people: two men and two women all wearing cloths that typifies treasure hunters. The first man stands 6’ 6’’, holding a torch in one hand and the infamous map in the other. He walks with a confidence that tells Fira that he’s the first person who was talking. One of the women also holds a torch.
They greedily approach the pile of gold and jewels, not even glancing up at Fira who rests at the very top. While the group of humans taking the view of the treasure, Fira contemplates her next move and comes to two obvious options. She was just getting bored and playing with these humans could be great fun. However, these people are clearly thieves who need to be taught a lesson. Although she would never normally hurt anyone, perhaps eating one of them will put the others in their place and make them more willing to play. (She’s sure she would get hungry soon anyway.)
